i had the same problem with my laptop. i solved the issue when i discovered that the madden 08 folder in "My Documents" folder was made available off line.

madden 08 is installed on a work laptop(tsk tsk - very naughty of me i know) and when at home, the folder wasnt off line syncronised and so wasnt appearing to the software/game at start up

as soon as i made it available offline, the game worked fine

interestingly i contacted EA Help Desk - they were as much use as a chocolate tea pot suggesting my dell XPS M1530 wasnt man enough to run the game - retards!

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

I just installed the madden 08 game for PC and when i start it up, it gets stuck at the loading screen where vince young is pictured. The music keeps playing and the small loading bar in the bottom right corner has stopped in the middle.

Does it just mean that i need new drivers? I had the same problem with my madden 07 game so i tried that on my desktop and it worked fine on it.

btw my desktop is older than my laptop.
