So, MadWorld is officially released in North America today! Anybody lucky enough to have the game already?

Well worth a buy. Even though the game is about 8 hours long (and keep in mind, the game is not easy at all), it has very high re playability for a few reasons:
- You can replay it again on hard mode, which is extremely difficult and will most likely take a lot longer to complete. - Once you beat the game, you can replay it with new unlocked weapons. - There's still multiplayer once your done with the campaign. - It's so addicting, and there are so many ways to beat levels and kill enemies, every play through is like a different game.
Believe me, if you like games that have extremely addicting combat with awesome looking combos and give you LOTS of creativity to your kills (the amount of things you can do to one person before finishing them is crazy), buy this game. If you like jaw dropping boss fights and games that have a ton of "OOOOWWWNNEED!!!! Did you see that?! OWNED!" moments (especially since there's tons of weapons that each have there own awesome finishers and combos), then buy this game. If you like gory, funny (especially the announcers), and fluid/beautifully designed (graphical wise) games, BUY THIS GAME.

Hard to say only being an hour and a half in, but from what I can tell the game is well worth a buy. Each level can be completed a near infinite number of ways with the number of environmental kills available, and the score and combo system will give tons of re-playability to people who like that sort of thing. It also sends a message of support for Platinum Studios and the chance SEGA took on them, as well as support for more "hardcore" games to be made for Wii.

Those who own it:
Is it worth a buy? Or just a rent? I heard it doesn't offer that much play time >10 hours, and I'm not sure how worth it that would be.

My only gripe with the game is that it froze up once I got to the first minigame, and I can't get back involved with it for another couple of hours. (Baking a birthday cake of all things.)

Well, I bought it. And... Its... Well.... Its kinda...
Oh shit, my non Madworld time is up guys, talk to you later!
Incase you didn't get it, I'm saying its *bleep*ing awesome on many levels I need a freaking track field in order to measure. Buy it now, or else miss out on a piece of video game awesomeness
AGAIN, BUY IT BECAUSE THERE IS NO GAME LIKE IT!!!
Graphics: Great, fluid, particle effects are kick ass. Sound: Sound track is great, even if you don't like rap IT IS NOT RAP AT ALL. Mostly hip hop, a few rap songs that are still somewhat hip hop anyway, and some half rock half hip hop mixed songs. You'll love it. Game play: Controls work very well. Combos are easy to pull off and extremely satisfying (and gory!). You'll be left twitching after some of the finishes (boss fights especially). It controls well, plays smoothly, and the overall game play is very very fun. Difficulty: It's hard on normal mode, and on normal mode it's almost impossible. But it's not difficult to an unplayable or flawed level at all, which is good.
I honestly have NO gripes about this game. If you are not thinking about getting it now, just read some reviews. It's a spectacular title, and there is nothing like it.

I've waited for this game for a long time but now I'll have to wait even longer due to Resident Evil 5 coming out Friday. Whoever gets it needs to share with us just how awesome it is.

I'm going to pick up my copy tomorrow. However, Walmart didn't stock Deadly Creatures at all, or at least they haven't yet, so I am not getting my hopes up yet. We'll see how it turns out.
I know the game was supposed to come out today (I've been obsessing over this very day for the release for so long) BUT no stores near me get it until tomorrow. Like GameStop, BlockBuster, Walmart, Target, ect. keep saying it is being released tomorrow. Like they really don't even have any clue what I am talking about when I call and ask if they have it in stock because it's release day is March 10th (check VG release dates). How frustrating >.<
I know it's just one more day, but I was so close to buying it when I discovered I'd be twitching for another 24 hours waiting for the stores to get it.
