whatever stone you get is the one you need. i don't know if what you posted in quotes is an excerpt from a faq or something but if it is it may have been based on vp2 from a different region and have slightly different translations for items and such into english.
i had some trouble trying to discern what you are getting at but i hope i answered it correctly.

Go on to the west.................." well i get 30000 oth but not the ring light stone......why? i tried to sort out from the palace try to restart the level, but the item's already aquired are the same......mmmmm i get fool tnx 4 help
