I've got a bit of an issue. I'm pretty sure I missed some items as I went through the game (I know for a fact that I missed 1 Seed). Now, I really don't feel like running through every dungeon in the game looking for items I missed. According to the official guide, one of the pirates at the Pirate Fortress will give you information on any items you've missed if they're in locations that are still accessible. However, in order to do this, you have to find all 6 pirates. I did this, but now no-one will stop talking about the gun they gave Sed. I have just done the first part of Grand Staff (just beat the Nefarious Saints), but I haven't moved on to the second portion. Do I need to complete the second portion of Grand Staff, or is there no way to get any help, and the guide's lying again?

The guide you read is a little deceptive in that the pirates do not reveal the locations of missing treasures.

Tough luck. Either you'll have to expore some more and chance coming across the item/s you missed, or you'll have to restart and be more thorough in your next playthrough.

But only if you can no longer access that area. I've checked the Auction House, and they say they have nothing left to sell; however, I still don't have the Achievement.

You don't have to go through all that trouble. You can simply go to the auction house in Saman and they will auction any missed items, anyplace in the game.
