I have three mages, one of each type...and can now reincarnate to Star Mages. my question is is it better to reincarnate all three mages into star mages or just reincarnate one and ditch the others?

I started out with the fire skull that was given to Adell, I quickly reincarted him to a prism skull so I could learn all the elementals without having students. After I learned all the omega spells I went back to the basic tiers to learn tera spells, the reincarnated to a galaxy skull. Veeerrry time-consuming, but well worth it for the weapon mastery aspect.

Tera was what I meant XD I was in a rush (was leaving to go to work in a few moments).

Yeah, prism types only learn the elemental ones, Galaxy mages learn all types (except Tera level).

Like I said, I was in a rush, I couldn't get into detail as much as I would have liked (and usually do).

Actually, both Prism and Galaxy Skulls/Mages learn Omega Spells at level 50 (60 for Star), but they can't learn Tera Spells. Also, Prism Skulls/Mages don't learn Star spells.

Only the element-specific tiers (1-4) can learn their respective Tera Spells. For example, only Fire Skulls/Mages can learn Tera Fire. A Prism Skull/Mage learns all elements up to

I'm getting my information from Here. The information there was taken from my Character Guide, which was mentioned at GameFAQs where you're apparently double dipping.

It would be best to have one mage create all the other types (eventually), thanks to skill inheritance. Then build up that character and eventually have a galaxy mage. Keep in mind, Galaxy mage cannot learn Omega level spells (earned at level 200 for elemental, I think higher with Star).

Star mages aren't "better" than other elemental mages. Enemies can have weaknesses to all three main elements, so sometimes it's better to have Fire or Ice instead of Star.
