how do i get to the part in the salva mines where theres a sign "beware of dragons?" is there a hidden character there??

I doubt level matters in the game. It's more of which events are triggered. But in order to get the event I believe you'd have to have freed the children from the forest in Marze. The place where Celine lives. After that you go to Harley and talk to the guy at the entrance when you get in. You don't have to be in a PA.

You have to go the harbour town, I forget the name but it is the 2nd harbour town. Not Kurik. You will find 2 guys chatting about it right at the start of the town I think it is the town at the far East of the continent you start on.

You should find 2 guys talking about a Dragon at some point, and then you go back to Salva and it will let you go past the sign Doing this allows Ashton the dual sword master to join your party. He looks cool and is often in my team of 4. Any more questions just ask
