Got to admire the guts of the little guy in armour. Given those circumstances - would you try to draw your sword and fight?

I wonder if this game is set before/after SotC (assuming it's in the same world)? The architecture looks like one of the cities in SotC before it was abandoned and turned to ruin.

The kid looks a bit like Ico - but mainly in the skin colour. He doesn't have the same asian looking face.

That creature looks ... interesting. Looks like a cross between a rat, a hyena and some kind of bird.

But Team Ico has never done that. They're not about widespread compatability, they're about producing the best game possible with the hardware available. That doesn't mean scaling it down to PS2 standards. The dude is a perfectionist, he's not about to take second best so he can run it on the PS2 as well.
You're right, there are games still coming to the PS2, but this probably won't be one of them.

you never know though. there are some instances of games today that are still made for the xbo360, ps3, and the ps2. dynasty warriors gundam 2 is an example of this, albeit it still being an awful ps2 title.

still, it lends itself to the possibility.

I certainly hope they'll be kind enough to give us a PS2 version, even if they would have to dumb it down quite a bit. It looks beautiful, but it's not quite what I might have been expecting.

That game looks great. At first I thought that when the main character was hanging off the edge of the bridge, I thought it was the bridge from SOTC.

I'm really going to have to get a PS3.

i think he was just after the kid and was unaware of what else lurked within. that's how i perceived it anyway.

looks like a pretty sweet game that will carry on the tradition of gameplay we've seen in its predecessors. too bad it'll probably only be on next-gen consoles, which is bad news for me.
