There are these half bodied experiments (I think) crawling on the ceiling and they spit this green acid like substance on you, and they swarm you until you are dead. I cannot get past them.

The slug things is just plain annoying, is all. They seemed to originate from an incubator, though... so I'd take it from there with your imagination.
And half body things crawling on the ceiling? Do tell... I don't think I'm that far.
