Details from the July issue of Official Xbox Magazine leaked onto the net, this morning and it’s full of Mass Effect 2 information along with some DLC talk for the first Mass Effect. It is suggested that you take most of this as rumor until the new issue is released, but E3 will have already happened by then, so when it comes out, more than likely we will already know all of this.

As far as DLC for the original Mass Effect, that is not much of a shocker considering more gameplay for the title was was promised back in February. It will, however, be the last bit of anything until the sequel comes out. “We are definitely working on a substantial new DLC,” said BioWare to OXM. “We’re finishing it up and making sure that it’s going to be really good, and then we’ll announce it, probably pretty [soon]. “That’ll be the last thing between Mass Effect 1 and 2 in terms of content."

*bleep*in A does this get me excited. I already have 1050/1050 achievement points for the game and have done everything in ME, so more content is great. I just can't get enough of this series.

It will be nice to have this to tie us over until the sequel hits early 2010.

Yeah, some of the Survival missions were a joke. The Volcanic Hunt on Insane was hectic.

The weapon you receive from the Turian is worse that Spectre Gear, so you didn't miss that much.

Yeah. I beat all of the DLC as well. Wasn't too tough. =/ God, for the survival missions I basically just let them kill me after a while because I dont think I was ever going to die.

And its pretty God damn lame; I won a weapon from that one Turian but my inventory was full so I had to turn it into medi-gel.

I didn't mind spending five bucks on the content though. Easy achievement points and I could actually see myself replaying the different scenarios in an effort to better my scores/times.

Is there cutscenes and some story-related material?

Arkham Asylum isn't out till September 4th here in the UK.

Its bullshit.

What? Are you sure? The UK should be getting the game this friday on the 28th. I know Australia gets it on the 4th or so though.

Shit.. I was looking at the wrong release date

I've completed the Pinnacle Station DLC. It is very light with the story elements.

Don't expect a big reward for completing it though. You get the most unexpected thing which allows you to order weapons (Although not as good as Spectre grade weaponry) and gain medi-gel.

I can't believe it to be honest. We've waited all this time and all we get is this? There is no plot, it's just wave after wave of geth or some other foe. Nothing more interesting than that. They shouldn't have bothered to be honest - this is complete crap. I love the game but this just smacks of just getting something released so they can say they did two different DLCs. Really, don't even bother downloading it.

Test the limits of your combat prowess aboard a remote, top-secret Alliance space station. Do you have what it takes to hold the top spot amongst the best of the best? This module includes a new land-able space station, 13 exciting combat scenarios, and approximately 2-3 hours of game play. Required: you must achieve Spectre status before embarking on this mission.
It's pretty much a training sim, except you try to beat the scores of the people on the station

Yeah, roughly 2-3 hours. Its really difficult to come first in the Simulations when playing on Insanity.

Downloading it now, says it has about 2-3 hours of gameplay
