DO NOT SAY THAT MARIO KART DOUBLE DASH (MKDD) DOES NOT PLAY ONLINE!!

Using an unoffical tunneling program called Warp Pipe, you can trick the GameCube. The system thinks you are playing on LAN (2 or more gamecubes connected) when really you are connected over the Internet playing the game. Please include your email so that we can play together sometimes. I won't spam or do anything like that.

In order to play Mario Kart Double Dash online, you'll need the following things:
  • A GameCube
  • Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
  • Warp Pipe (download link below)
  • GameCube broadband adapter
Once you have those things then you're ready to play!!!

Kimonio - don't be so silly and childish - a quick word of advice: DO NOT comment on things you know nothing about.

Warp pipe is not illegal and it isn't hacking.
It doesn't edit memory, it doesn't copy - it doesn't even affect your Gamecube - it simply allows online multiplayer via the lan option on your Gamecube. Infact it isn't even hacking at all. It simply makes your Gamecube think your connected to a console in the same room - Nintendo knew this would be possible and decided to leave it open for some imaginative gamers to use. It's a simple process and does not harm your Gamecube.

It's fan made, so its unofficial but that just means Nintendo provide no official support neither do they condone it. Afterall its been given coverage from ign to magazines worldwide and Nintendo never once complained. It is a praised program.

Incase you didn't understand - you play online via your Gamecube.

I doubt people will try it. I probably wouldn't. Using game merchandise for a different system doesn't seem like it would be fair.
Well that's the problem. Very few people play MKDD let alone go "online" with it. That's the point of this topic. (I am moneymandall18, the creator of this topic but I don't feel like logging in right now)

Isn't that similar to hacking the Gamecube?

You said that the "Warp Pipe" program wasn't official. If it isn't official, then Nintendo doesn't allow it. If they don't allow it, then it doesn't follow the rules and could either harm the Gamecube or give others the rights to hack into peoples things. I'm not sure about the said two things, but it may be possible.

I'm kindly asking others who are reading this not to listen to what he is saying. If you are a new player to the Gamecube, don't try it.
It isn't harmful. I've tried it before. Even though it isn't offical it IS a way to get Mario Kart double dash online!
