really, what's the point of the Lost and Death spells they never seem to work on any of the stronger enemies, in fact they never seem to hit any of the enemies. Are they just there for the hell of it?

I agree..they seem pretty pointless, has anyone else had really bad luck with hitting enemies with ailments? Simple things like poison like to miss alot, I've come to not using them unless forced to (Sleeping Mack for the boss) and they're pretty useless to me now because none of them ever seem to hit.

I never bother with lost or the death spell, but on a large group of enemies that are susceptible to it, I do occasionally choose to use annihilation. Instant death effect on a ring can also be quite useful.
