I had the same problem a while back. Kind of sucked for me, cause my cousin was coming over, and my PS2 wasn't working.. And I really wanted to play some double player games with him. Turns out, we didn't get to

Hope the problem get's solved. Here's what I did: I saved up money for months and bought a new one.

Dude ur wasting money contactin sony to fix ur PS2 it costs somewhat $80-$85 in the usa but im english and use £ and it should be between £75-£80 if sony fixes ur PS2
