well i just finished the heroic side of the game and finished everything apart from the blast shards i need 38 more Any tips from any one to help me find them? It's such a pain, as this is the first game im aiming at to get platinum.

What i did was when i was nearing the end of the game, i kept clicking L3 wherever i went (my finger got real sore XD ), then when i had done everything else, i did a coastal search of each island followed by a train track search. So i'd follow the sea and click L3 every second all the way around, as shards are normally near the edges as you barely go there in the main game. Luckily, by the time i had done the train track search on the historic district i had all 350, so i didn't have to do....something else

*revives*

Arrgghhhh, ONE....LAST....SHARD DAMMIT!

I've got all the shards, save one, and it is elusive >_<

I've searched the entire map fairly carefully, I was originally having trouble finding two, but one I just happened across.

BTW: Anybody having trouble should search around the edges of each island, doing the 'search' thing (L3) every half of the minimap crossed or so. I found about 23 of my missing shards on the edges of each island.

EDIT: Dang, it was the lone shard on the far upper right of Neon, one of 3 shards that won't normally appear on the map unless you get close...All that wasted time when a quick search on Neo would have told me about it....

hmm i've just started an evil playthrough so once i finish that i'll print the sheet and go looking for the shards, i'll give the hunting a rest for now.

Ugh! Got it. And on the first island I was checking too. I lucked out. Apparantly the one that was out on the broken pier wasn't the one I was thinking of. There was a broken pier in Historic. I thought everyone was talking about that one. Actually, I had missed the one that was out on the broken pier in Neon.

Boy am I an idiot.

But I got my Platinum trophy now.

Start with the Junk Maze, area around Junk Tower, and the Prison- its easy to miss blast shards in those areas. If you still don't find it, you'll just have to use the map and go over all 350 locations again.

Yeah, already got those.

Damn this is gonna be a bitch. Ah, just something for me to do tonight.

Maybe I will use that map, though. Guess I need to unless I plan on scouring the city 20 more times...

@reaver: Theres a single blast shard on the top of the building beside the blast site which will not appear on the radar at ground level. Also, theres one on a little dock on Neon which doesn't appear on your radar since its too far out.

Just wanted to say, I just got all 350. Looks like my marking off paid off.

Well I've started on this trophy and have quite a bit to go (still in the 200s . . . maybe 290-something).

But take it one place at a time and use the map showing all the shard locations (unless you want to do it without the map. Then just keep a good memory of where you've been). Then use the mini map to check each place. Not too too hard. Much easier than any of the Spiderman game Token searches!!!

Any clue if some of these only appear at certain heights?

And do some not appear if you're playing on hard? I found 3 clustered on one of the piers and I could have sworn I checked that place, along with the rest of the world map, a dozen times.

I only need one more and its getting under my skin...

Just go to save/load in the game menu, then scroll to your game save. The percentage completed, blast shards, dead drops and other info will appear below it.

Aah, yes. Cheers.
