I just got Jericho yesterday and I was wondering if he had infinite ammo and will he leave if I change karma?

I also want to know where I can find the Terrible Shotgun, Lincoln's Repeater, Ol' Painless and a Fat Man.

^Eew Ajax.

Lucky Harith is just as good a source of ammo as Smiling Jack.

quote Ajax
In my expert opinion, forget the Terrible Shotgun. To get anything out of it, it requires a hella high Sneak, so you can sneak up on stuff and use a V.A.T.S sneak critical.

The Terrible Shotgun is named well, it has TERRIBLE accuracy. It may have a high DMG stat, but half the time it won't hit what you aim at.

DO NOT KILL SMILING JACK. HE'S THE BEST SOURCE OF AMMUNITION IN THE WASTES.

It's very beneficial to go back to him every 2-4 days to buy his ammunition, he has an ass load of it. Again, there's a Super Mutant Behemoth out the front of the building he's in (Evergreen Mills) so you may want to stack up on ammo or a few Mini-Nukes.

-----------------

Weapons you should get right this second;

Ol' Painless
- Unique Hunting Rifle. Found in the North East corner of the map in The Republic of Dave. You can mess around with the ballots, causing Dave to get voted out and he'll leave and give you the key to his safe, where Ol' Painless is. Or you could just kill everyone and take it.

Ol' Painless has a DMG stat of 30 when at 100% condition. It uses .32 Calibre rounds just like Hunting Rifles.

Lincoln's Repeater - Another unique. It has no basic counterpart and can be repaired with Hunting Rifles.

Found in the Museum of History (in D.C. You can simply run there from the Metro and ignore all the Super Mutants) in the Offices in the big room with all the work stalls in it at the top of a small flight of stairs (you're basically walking up onto a mezzanine level). The Repeater is in a display case which is a little taller than waist height on the left wall towards the back of the room, while standing at the top of the stairs. The place is populated with Feral Gouls, so they shouldn't be too much trouble. Watch out for the Glowing One at higher levels though.

The Repeater has a DMG stat of 50 when at 100% condition. It uses .44 Magnum Rounds, which are a little harder to come by, which is why I only use the Repeater for bigger/stronger enemies.

Grouped with Commando, Sniper and Concentrated Fire and a 100 Small Guns stat, you'll be invincible if you use V.A.T.S regularly. The fact that both guns have a 0.0 Spread, which means that, where you aim normally (outside V.A.T.S) the bullet will hit 100% of the time, where 95% of other guns in FALLOUT 3 have a Spread of 0.5 or higher, means that if you do decide to use them outside V.A.T.S they're dependable.

EDIT: Ohh, if you'd like to know more about the Xuanlong Chinese Assault Rifle, the Unique Chinese Assault Rifle, just ask.

That's a video on how to find the Repeater, bringing a ghoul mask will make your trip easier, you should also bring a few bobby pins.

he wont leave if you change karma unless you tell him hes fired.

Yes, Jericho will have infinite ammo but ONLY for the weapon he has when you recruit him. If you give him a different weapon, you will have to give him ammo regularly.

Yes, he will leave if you go from Bad Karma to anything else. This applies for all followers except for Clover, Dogmeat, and Charon.

The Terrible Shotgun can be found in Evergreen Mills. Head west from Megaton and you should find it. Inside the large factory, there should be a cave complex. Wander around until you find a non-hostile Raider named Smilin' Jack. He will have the shotgun on him. BE CAREFUL! There are over 30 Raiders in or around the area along with a Super Mutant Behemoth in a cage.

Lincoln's Repeater is located in the Museum of American History in D.C. itself. It will be in a display case. I can't really give better directions than that. NOTE: Lincoln's Repeater is repaired by Hunting Rifles. This includes Ol' Painless. Be very careful or you could lose it.

Ol' Painless is in the Republic of Dave in the far north-east corner of the map. Inside the main building, there will be a man named Dave. Either kill him for the key to his safe or rig the election so he loses. Either way, you get the key and the safe is in his office.

The easiest Fatman to find is outside of GNR. Follow the main quest until you get there. It, along with 8 Mini-Nukes, will be on a dead Brother of Steel on one of the benches.

I hope that my reply helps. If you need anything else, just ask.
