Seeing that I live in the US, I really want to give football a go but due to the laws here I'm kind of restricted on my options.
I've done a fair bit of research and everything points to Bodog being my best option.
Has anybody here ever used it before?

You can deposit as much as you want.
The trick with the withdrawal thing is that after the first free check, there's a huge service charge. So either you wait a month or you pay them half your winnings.

Once a month? That's shit. Ah well, if it's the best you can get from the US then it's not too bad. Once a month will be alright, since you won't be winning much anyway
How often can you make deposits?

It's definitely a well-recommended site, the only problem is you can make withdrawals just once a month.
Oh well, I guess it makes it that much sweeter when I actually win.

The site does look pretty decent though, and the odds look very good, at least on the games I looked at.

Looks like I'm bound to use Bodog simply because of where I live and all that other crap my government imposes on me. Oh *bleep*ing well I guess.

I'm still confused as to the problem/lack of problem. Isn't it illegal in most states in the US? If it's problematic with withdrawals then how will you manage to do it? Some sites accept paypal as well so you could do it that way. Betfair is one of the sites that accept paypal deposits and withdrawals.
Btw thanks for showing this site, it will go great to throw in to the mixer with the rest once I get my site up ( which looks like never ).

just send a few of them an email about it and see what they say. i think they're ok with it but not 100% sure.
btw are there many good sites that do teasers for american football do you know?
saw a few people on a different forum mention it and just wondered where i could find the markets

I checked a couple of the sites out that you guys mentioned. Do any of you know their withdrawal options for U.S. citizens?
Honestly that's my biggest problem, finding a site where I can easily withdraw my money, and legally.

Try Bwin mate, when i used to bet with them they seemed pretty reasonable and i am pretty sure they are a worldwide company, i don't bet with them anymore however as i am banned from betting with them, but i think they accept US.

Can you not just use someone like Skybet.com?
