Many of you come here looking for either the Casino, the Hospital or Yellow Peat's.

Firstly, the Casino.

This picture appeared on a Czech site and caused much controversy:

edit: I have received the translation from a Czech friend. He says:

In our message board there is a lot of discussion about it. We should be realistic. There in the world many people (tens of thousands ot maybe hundred of thousands people) It would be weird that noone wouldnt achieve to find the casino and take few pictures of it. Why in folder Mafia/maps are not any textures similiar to that casino? Maybe coz there is no Casino. Another evidence of it is a fact, that cheats for the casino were released long time before.

We estimated (and those from u, who are offering u a tip wher to find casino for money, dont have to agree with us) that the casino doesnt exist!!!

25.11.2002 - Casino Exists: News about that Casino doesnt exist probably made angry those who really found it. It made them angry as much that they sent us evidence. I dont wanna believe it, but I think that this picture describes that it's not a cheat. Of course we will try something more about where the Casino is...

As you can see, the site is split as to what it believes. Many other people believe it to be a hoax, and with no real evidence, other than one shot, I can't blame them. If you are one of the "lucky" ones who found this Casino, tell us, and don't forget to include a guide on how to get there!

Secondly, the Hospital.

The hospital is located in the north of the map, on the right hand side of the bridge connecting it with China Town. You will also recognise this place from the second mission.

Finally, Yellow Peat's

Specifically, you are looking for the Twister Theater. You will find this circled on the map that came with the game in the southwest part of Hoboken. There is a large vertical sign on this building. Yellow Pete's is a plain door on the south side of the theater building. Knock to get in. *Not available in Free Ride Extreme, so don't look.

I remember the huge arguments people had about the casino at the time. I was even suckered into it, after being told that the entrance to the casino was a sectret door in the train tunnel that only opened at certain times during the day.

I wasted alot of my life trying to find it, let me tell you.

There are 3 versions of the game Mafia

The first one was never released

The second one is diferent from the third in some things, but it was released,

The third one was released after the second one (obvius) but, the second one sold like a thousand copies, then this third was released and the other one was discontinued.

so i think that the casino was in the first or second version, but not in the third somehow....

Anybody ever hear of a secret door inside a tunnel that leads to a cave?

Get onto the road and turn South (left), take the second right, just before the parking sign on the map.

A little way down on the right hand side is an ironmongers shop set back off the road, get out and click on the door when you see the action button icon appear, nothing will happen. Go back and walk into the tunnel (park a car next to the bank, jump onto the bonnet then up the bank, lower yourself carefully down the wall inside the barriers and walk along the right hand wall until another action icon appears, click it and a hidden door will open leading into a tunnel which goes to the cave

It was on a site, I've never tried it though.

Does the hospital actually have any use in the game? Cuz I remember when I played through this game I was low on health once and I remembered where the hospital was from the introductory taxi missions. I drove up there and ran around looking for a way in or a health pack or anything, and found nothing. Guess this game forgot to 'borrow' that feature from GTA3.
