I got mine from the PSN store....All you gotta do is look at the manual(PS Button) and on one of the pages it says Meryls Frequency. -_-

Yes Brian,

For those who have downloaded it on the PSN Store, we can not look at the back of the CD!
For my part, I have tested all the possible frequencies to find the right one: 140.15

If you download MGS from the PSN store then you don't get the cd. I had the same problem until I found it on YouTube in a walkthrough video. Don't give everyone a hard time just for asking the question.

Look back on the of the CD case you will for sure find merlys codec frequency on the back of the jewel case.

The secret number is a fake rumor. its only for the integral version of this game it supposedly lets you hear commentary on certain parts of the game.

Actually, I replayed MGS2 two day yesterday and they DO state the gender. In Olga's words (not exactly)

Olga:"They have her"
Raiden:"What?"
Olga:"They have my child"
