I dunno if it's a joke or not, but I believe in Duke and I believe it will come out, im not telling a date to come out like some people do, it will come out "When it's done" and that's it! im waiting patiently, even if it has taken over 12 years. And while i'm waiting i will be enjoying my life with other games.

Didn't it take Prey about 10 years to get released? Surely there is still hope for Duke.
Also, the currently engine looks alot like the one they used for Prey.

i remember hearing about this back in 2000. even remember the scare that people thought it was a hoax to boost 3DRealms failing company stock. If its taken nearly 8 years with no solid release date, an unprofesional comment of "when its done", no visual progress, yeah this game is not comming out. Sad too, that the makers of the almighty Duke are the ones that give him the biggest slap in the face and stuff him in his grave.

When it takes a game this long to be created, it's pretty much on the backburner indefinitely, even if that is not said so publicly. The day it comes out, the Assassin's Creed trilogy will be long ended and people will be arguing about the PS6 and the Xbox 1440.

They won't release it. Their company will abandon them (I think that's already happened) for taking to long, employees will leave knowing full well that the game will never be finished, and it'll end up being uncompleted. But if they do get around to completing it, it'll pull a Fuzion Frenzy move and end up being given away with Woman's Day magazines.
