i know this is probably already a thread but i can't be stuffed finding it so;

Who is your best eva Rookie and wat were their stats?

I just started a new season and my 2nd overall pick in the draft (i had pick 1,2,6,15 in 1st round) has got 300 yarrrds in 2 games. his overall is 79 but it should be way higher by the end of the year (ps. my backup is Bettis, whose 2nd all time in rushing yards(active playas))

WR- G. Mills- 1ST Round 25th overall
85 Speed 80 Acceleration 78 Agility 90 Catch
Only a 80 overall or so but the thing about him was his intangibles. 6 Feet 6 Inches 220 Pounds
Throw it to him in the corner all day and no one can jump with him.

No there is not a way to see how he player progression goes up during the season. You can tell by the kind of year you are having if at the end of the year if he will go up or down, but you cannot tell what exact stats go up.

is their a way to view player proggression during a season? and do their stats actually go up during the sesaon or do they only do it @ da ennd

Willis MaGahee
Is an awesome starting back in this game. I had him until I could draft someone faster. Got him cheap also. I think I traded Curtis Martin for a #1 pick and MaGahee. It lowered my payroll and got a faster back.

Well there is a way, but you need to put Bennett on the shelf occasionally to do it. Here's how I did it.

I use the Giants and had Barber as my back. He kept getting tackled too easy so I set out looking for a back with some speed and more strength than Tiki has. I came across Willis MaGahee in Buffalo. They have 3 HB that are good (Willis is the worst) so it was easy to get him for next to nothing. McGahee was my 2nd string HB. I started subbing him in every 3 or 4 run plays by using the quick package option, it's called "spell HB" (in other words give your starting HB a breather. I did this for an entire season and actually McGahee had more TD's and Avg. Yds. per carry than Barber, but that's besides the point. At the end of the season his stats went up. Maybe not as much as him playing every down, but it still was significant. Then I ran him through Training camp and preseason. His OVR number went from a 69 to roughly 78 or so. I traded Barber since he wasn't being used and was still worth alot. after 2 more seasons, McGahee is now an OVR of 93. I hope this helps...

So basically sub him in on occasion it does help him improve and a good side effect is that when you use Bennett he'll be more rested and therefore faster, stronger and have a less tendancy to fumble. In this game running back by commitee isn't necessarily a bad thing. If you have a QB you want to improve, just sub him in when the game appears to be in hand. Remember, some playing time is always better than none playing time.

Hey everyone i have a ? Lets say i have a good young HB(michael bennet) and i use him all the time but i got a really good HB in the NFL rookie draft. How can i improve his skills?? I know they improve with training camp and preseason but is there any other way??

Thanx

you have to put the names in...

what i usually do is put them in as i play a team... say im playing the raiders, i look to see who the guys are without names, then i look up the schools the guys went to on espn.com and go from there...

its tedious but whatever its better than having guys with numbers

when you import a draft class, does it have their real names? or just their numbers?

Spotos strength went up 12 in one year???? If you did that without using the mini camp I got one word...STEROIDS!
Hey I don't care that he is shooting up, as long as he produces. I don't have a zero tolerance rule, haha. Yeah that was his first year in the league. Now you can imagine him breaking 10 tackles per game! I actually go for the break 10 tackles in a game all the time. Its pretty easy with the stiff arm.

I am playing my 9th game of the season and I simulated the rest of the games. Spoto went up another speed point. So you can increase in speed!
