My favorite power up in Super Metroid is the Grappling Hook. I was excited to see that Super Metroid had used the Grapple Beam in a sidescroller format. I enjoy swinging with the device and it graphically looks cool. The only power up that rivals the Grapple Beam in my opinion is the Power Bomb since it allows Samus to perform combos with her beams.

the space jump is the right thing for me,so forget about the grappling beam and space jump over the spikes/acid.

Either Varia Suit, or Hyper Beam.
Varia suit because it's my favourite suit and Hyper Beam because its rather unique and only comes in this game (I think?)
