Up Arrow - Walk forwards. Double-tap to run.
It may be difficult to do properly if you have a fast computer.

I've had alone in the dark kicking around my house for years and have just decided to play it. I have, however, lost the manual and can't find any configuration feature. I'm stuck at the start of the cavern as I don't know how to run and can't find the manual on the web. Please help, I'm at a dead end!
