Most people who played this game after see ghosts but the question is..is it a hallucination from your fear or have the ghosts escaped your game. Think about it. U all heard of AI which stands for artificial intelligence....well the ghosts have AI to act like ghosts..well what if their ghost AI makes them attracted to fear and haunt outside ur game. Believe it or not if u were scared after playing that game and r still a little scared ghosts r haunting inside of u. Depending on how great ur fear is the ghost exposes itself....If u think about it culd be true.
Also, after i played both game i think my sixth sensed sharpened. I have a little sixth sense..like i twitch if a spirit is nearby...but it has sharpened. Also sometimes i have visions when someone saids a particular line from the game. in the vision i sorta resee the same scene. kinda weird.

3months after I played fatal frame 1&2 I began to have nightmares about what happened in the game then I started to feel like I was followed and also being watched EVERY time I close my eyes I keep having visions of the dead in the game like what mio and mayu did when they entered the house in the village where bad things happened to those people and anyone else who entered the house . But that doesn't mean anything right ? I mean tuns of people have this sort of thing happen to them right?

Well, I could say that my sixth sense isn't really strong, but I have seen a man in white sometimes, and disappears when I turn to him (Mostly occurs when I'm inside. Clearest time was when I was inside, and he was outside. I thought it was my grandfather, but he was wearing a light blue shirt, not white, and was going in another diction than the man).
And then there's my house. It's messed up as heck! Sound is messed up (You can hear something from one end to the other end), stuff is sometimes heard moving or falling (Always in another room, and it sometimes sounds like someone broke in or we have mice(Which we don't)), and stuff just randomly fall when I do NOT touch it (I normally blame gravity, but the stuff that falls usually stay like that for a long time). A hanger flew in my closet and landed a few cm from me (It was even in the mornin', I left the room before anything else happened), soda fell and almost tried to kill me when I opened the fridge (Before, the soda didn't look like it was going to fall, either), I sometimes hear footsteps at night and no one is awake and moving (I think it's my own ears, but it's not), and stuff will just fall when I'm near or I do something (I did something that either upset or insulted something and just push stuff to make me stop).
My father thinks I can move things with my mind, though that thore can be prove true (Seeing the next day in my dreams). But, that doesn't explain somethings, like the man, or the sounds! I seriously thought someone broke in while I was on the can at night, and going threw the kitchen for something to kill us with, too.
I only had one Fatal Frame ghost real-life thing, and it was that d*** floating woman's head from the first game! She just appear while my friend was in the back room, and I saw her, started breathing very heavy, felt colder, and turned around and fall against the door, then my friend open the door and she wasn't there, and I told her and she said I was just seeing things. I'm not easily scared (I laugh in the face of horror and my friend's screams. I was picked to be the lead and to hold the lantern by my friend when we went on this trail. Some friend she is.) by things, but I really don't expect a Fatal Frame ghost to appear and try to kill me.
I also think I had upset something when I brought Crimson Butterfly, or the game cursed me, and I had this cough for about four weeks after I got the game. Till about two weeks after getting it, my mother finally took my to the doc, and I got better. But it was odd. I get the game and a cough.
So, the closest thing I can get to ghost, is that man, the soda & stuff that try to kill me (but miss), & that time the head woman appeared. But how did this all occur! I've never seen nor touch a Oijia broad! It just doesn't add anything up!

Oooooo, so tempting (lol) I'm not that cruel - I think everyone has those moments where they open a box to find woman in a box leaping at them or open a closet and see Chitose wailing... I'll put it down to lack of sleep~

If you all think I'm insane, I won't blame you at all. I'm beginning to question my own sanity.
A few nights ago I was playing FF2. I quit around 2am and laid down to go to sleep. Sudenly the air around me got really cold and I swear by the holy Star of Asa that i heard a little girl ask "Why do you kill"
the only reason I'm telling you this is because I had just stated a new game and had only played to ch 5. So it's not like the Kiryu twins were fresh in my mind or anything. I hadn't even met them yet!

I just noticed this in the first post, and I thought I ought to comment.

I don't want to leave this to give a misleading idea of what game AI is.
Artificial Intelligence in the current state of technology is simply a misnomer. There is no such thing as a true Artificial Intelligence. What there is is Simulated Intelligence.
In games, you, the human player, are up against computer-generated enemies. Their behaviour, called AI, is in fact little more than a calculation comparing the XYZ positions in the 3D matrix of your character (or the camera) and the enemy character. If the enemy is facing the wrong way, the animation to turn the character your way is initiated. When the enemy is close enough, it might trigger the "attack" animation. A good AI might take into account your movement and try to predict where you will be by extrapolating your position.
That's all AI in games really amounts to - relatively simple maths. No haunting external to the console required or remotely possible.

in truth, spirits respond to our everyday action. the fog that holds the two worlds at a distance from eachother thins and we see aparitions, we feel a presence, etc. survival horror games, reading books on the subject, anything that draws our attention to the otherworld acts as an acknowledgement to the other side. it creates an energy, sort of like a beacon to those inhabitants beyond the realm of our understanding. long story short, the more you learn, the more they come to you, the more you notice them. nuff said
