If this is what I think it is, they got a Cease and Desist from Square a LONG time ago.

Last update from there was from 04.

Square-Enix called a cease and desist on Chrono Trigger: Resurrection and just recently Chrono Trigger: Crimson Echoes was 98% complete and Square-Enix once again gave them the cease and desist. Square seems to wait till they are almost done, then smack them in the face.

i just visited the site and no new news on the development of this fan-game has been posted. sorry to bust all of yalls bubbles but it looks like it has been stopped for good

They were given a cease and desist notice from Square-Enix for copyright infringement.

Chrono Trigger is a great game, but don't you think it would be great to play it in 3D?

Well you know, I mean frankly I just think it's a waste of time, why don't they just spend their time on a different project and not remodel something that's already perfect.

It has been a while since the news came out from Chrono Trigger 3D remake that, their production is getting shutdown because SE warned them for copyright invasion.

I was fairly dissapointed to hear that because I expected this amateur remake of CT to be quite a good one. But then, I thought, maybe SE is trying to remake CT, too? I mean they did remake on Dragon Quest 5 and now is doing remake on Romancing Saga 1.

what do you think?

Its been some time now and absolutely no news has been heard of Chrono Break.

I expected as much, but its still kind of hard for some CT fans.

I dont think they will be making a Chrono Break.
