i would just like to know the most popular civs out there and why as well as what strategies seem to work best with them.

Byzantines are my favorites they get more techs then any other civ in the game and they are just all around good really

Koreans because you can build War Wagons, Fortified Walls, Bombard Towers and Turtle Ships. It's pretty awesome.
Second would be Persians, for the above reasons. I only find them useful in games where you have a teammate, though, so you can use trade carts to get gold, because War Elephants are extremely expensive, but they are really strong. Even if they are slow, and their weakness is hand cannoneers.
Third would be Aztecs, because you get to charge into enemy towns with lots and lots of monks and a trebuchet, because you just convert all the enemy units that attack the monks, and they attack their own town. It's pretty cool.

hello does anybody have a favorite civilization? mine would be either the chinese or the teutons. chinese i attack in the feudal age teutons i do a castle age attack. i like the chinese because of their bonuses while i like the teutons becuse of their town centers and unique unit
