Maybe I'm a complete idiot, but am I supposed to understand all that complicated Tuning stuff?

In the game I look and it says: Brake Stiffness - Soft/Hard, Brake Balance: Rear/Front, as if it's OBVIOUS what the difference between Soft and Hard Brakes are! Then I get to change my Toe In - what's wrong with my toes? Do I want them In or Out?

So - I go to the manual... it's so helpful, it says:

"Brake Stiffness. Choose a setting between Soft and Hard"

Wow - that's soooooo useful. I know WHAT I can choose, I just haven't got the faintest idea WHY I want to chose it?

Since my car is sliding all over the place I'm assuming that I might be able to improve stuff by tuning it better - but I have no idea how to do that, and the manual is no use.

Is there a Car Tuning for Dummies guide available?

cheers

Hey I just saw this contest on FacebookÂ….I'm thinking of enteringÂ…just wanted to share the information with fellow car enthusiasts.

If you're a good driver and know how to tune, you can tune the car to better suit your driving style and the track conditions.

Its not wirth it to tune. All of the cars come pretuned anyway and theya all handle the tracks the same way.

LOL! I know what you mean. I didn't even know about the tuning till the other day. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't shift friggin gears, till I checked the tuning part...then I seen you had to switch to manual...D'oh!
