Glen Morgan and James Wong, the writers/directors/producers behind Final Destination, are developing Sammy Studios' forthcoming sci-fi Western shooter, Darkwatch: Curse of the West, for the big screen. The game, expected to hit the Xbox and PS2 in early '05, is the first project by the U.S.-based internal development team at Sammy. The game follows unlucky cowboy Jericho Cross, a train robber who spots an unusual target racing down the tracks under the light of the full moon. He decides to pillage it as his final score before retiring. Well it woulld be a pretty good movie. You don't see Bonanza crosses Dracula ever in movies. but it wouldnt be that great because they would twist the plot into crap. they'd just use some very basic plot things like cassidy's death and lazurus. But would jericho go evil or good? good quetion...

No it doesn't seem like it is happening, I know you posted this quite a while ago but right now 1. I hadn't heard it was happening and 2. IMDb doesn't show it...
So I guess not anymore.
Shame, it might have helped to get the game more popular..

Darkwatch would make an Awesome Movie. Just the intro of the game really got me into it and if the movie is like that as well a lot of people will watch it.
