I could say the exact same thing about the Halo series. Half-Life's storyline may seem very dim, if you have only played Half-Life 2. The episodes, as well as Half-Life 1 build on to the storyline, and one of the reasons that the game is so cool, is because as you are playing through, you are also trying to figure out what the hell is going on, and why it is happening.

The Halo games have been fun, but the Half Life games on the other hand where revolutionary for their time. The first Half Life still good. The physics and graphics may not look like much compared to today's standards, but the game play is amazing. Both Halo and Half Life games are a lot of fun, but I would have to say that Hal Life over all is the better franchise.

they're kinda equal, but halo does get repetitive and half-life 2 constantly keeps you ready, i've only been playing for a day or two and i always look up for barnacles and throw a grenade into every room to get rid of imaginary combine x.x

I never played Half Life 2 on the Xbox but I have the Orange Box for the 360. Personally I do not really like half life2. Not sure why but it seemed plain to me after I heard so much hype. I liked halo 1 but not as much as many games on the xbox.

I like HL2 more than any Halo game, cept the original. Halo seemed to get wrose as time progressed as to where HL2 got better, the graphics could still use some tweaking but other than that it's win. The story is better, I personally like 1-player games better. But in Halo the online play is good and the variety of things to kill is greater. I like bth for different things, I play HL2 more than Halo, 1,2 or 3 combined though :>

I like Halo3 alot and half life2 is relly good so far... I think... Halo's better, because I think it has a way better story and its got better gameplay but thats my opinian...even so i'm still eagrly awaiting Hl3.

Halo games are Mediocre at best, and the third one is crap
Half-Life games are completely faultless, and have cooler characters and better gameplay

Raiden in the begenin u said halo games blow and GF was all man...hes a fkin computer geek idiot so he can shoot zombies and pick things up with a tool...i will admit i like both games but halo is the ultimate and any1 who thinks otherwise i dont give a shit.
