I don't know if anyone will ever read this since this section seems to be dead but I figured I'd post about my recent experience.
This was a game that I was sorry I didn't pick up when it first came out. Unfortunately, by the time I wanted to buy it I couldn't find a decently priced copy anywhere. My girlfriend even joined in the search when I told her about the Trance Vibrator peripheral. No stores were carrying it, and the only used copies I could find were online for more than $80 from vendors that I had heard were less than reputable. In the late part of last year I thought that I had finally caught a break. GMR reported that Sega was going to re-release Rez in September of 2004. For reasons unknown this never happened. By that time though my girl had already ordered and received the Vibrator peripheral so we couldn't give up the search. Finally, about a week ago I was in my local Electronic Boutique to buy the Full Metal Alchemist game and by sheer happenstance I found a copy staring me in the face from the used games shelves with a price tag of about thirty bucks. Tonight, my girl and I sat down and gamed in a way that I never imagined Sega facilitating. All I can say is that this is a great game for couples.
