I had my owns doubts about buying it, then my mum bought me it not long after it came out... i still play it now, it is so damn addicting, i strongly advise buying it.

{I would say definately get it. it's only $20 new and it's so friggin addicting. and to answer the rest of your questions...

-a katamari is a ball that you roll around collecting things to replace the stars in the sky. as you get larger, you can pick up larger things. and when you get to a certain size in a level (within a time limit) you go onto the next level with a larger size goal. eventually you'll pick up anything and everything on earth. it's great!

and i'll say this, this game is on my top ten favorite games list. and i'm a game freak.}
