I have beaten the game with only true issens( not deflect issens) without using any magic and any medicines. I will provide some tips. The general strategy is hit the attack button within range just before an enemy's about to perform the last action on attacking you. This is very very different from the popular definition of hitting the attack button just before an enemy attack strikes you. These are very different definitions, and the first one, the one I said, is actually the correct one. When an enemy attacks you, it might start to raise its leg, howls, raises its arms, etc, but the moment the final action( the real attack on you) starts, that is when you hit the attack button. 99% of people finding issen hard is because they misunderstood the rules. They press the attack button TOO LATE!. You have to press it just as the final movement of attack is initiated, not when it is about to land on you. If you press the button an instant just before it lands on you, you'll always fail. Use this general "correct" definition and study when each enemy's final attack action looks like, just as the final attack initiates, that is when you do it. Now that you have been enlightened, I hope you will master it in no time, good luck!

all you need is luck, thats how I managed to win this damn training. I've tried 3 days for about 2 hours a day to beat the game and then i got lucky and the reward was really worth it!!! All you need is 8 spirits to activate the black vest an then nothing can stop you. Its better then cheating. you slash through enemy hordes with just one click. But it's a shame that you cant issen bosses with the black west. so keep on trying:)
LOL! luck is not what you need. Skill is what you need. Most people don't seem to get the timing of true issens, but once mastered, you don't have to move around or dodge around or do anything funny. Just stand there, and the instant someone attacks you, that enemy along with all others in the area are instantly killed. The whole game can be beaten in like 25 minutes without losing health or upgrading anything. Just the critical instant kills are required.
