I need some help, so I can get 5 star songs and up good. The thing is, I keep on getting mixed up when you have to press UP and Left together, then Down Left. Or UP/RIGHT and Down/LEFT. I can't get my feet to get there fast enough, any strategies.

I guess I might...I like that fact that there are secret songs in the PS2 DDRs...maybe I will buy one. But I have to stick with Disney Mix for a while...I am out of you money now, but I will get some soon.

That's the problem: the higher rated songs are just at too high BPMs. You need lower BPM songs.
Please consider a PS2 DDR.

Well, by pressing down twice on your pad, you can switch from Basic to Trick mode and press down twice again to go to basic. Maniac mode is available, only after you complete all trick mode songs with a passing grade. I find it impossible for the younger audience to complete, and slightly possible for me, intermdiate. Here are the songs that just are riculous in trying...
1.Supercalifragilexticalidocious 2.Mr. Bassman 3.Its a Small World (Duck Hard core mix)
Those are 7-8 star in trick mode...their basic versions are very difficult as well.

It's not the tips that are given, it's the songs you can practice on. Disney mix is so unfair, it's like going from Beginner to Trick instead of Basic to Trick.
Is there a LITTLE modifier on Disney Mix?

I have attempted Supercalifragelistexcalidoxious so many times, basic always gets me. The hardest song I have tried was Mr. Bassman, the some is slow but the tempo of the arrows go extremely fast. 1/8th notes get me on the song "Share my love" and that is a trick mode "3 star". To be honest, I just can't see how the younger audience can do these types of songs...sorry I am not talking about DDRMAX, but you lads/lasses are experts at DDR, and these tips help.

Just...wow. Disney Mix seriously shafts everybody on Light/Basic. More like Beginner to me, and that's bad.
Those jumps should be second nature by now for anyone going from Basic to Trick. But the way Disney Mix is made, it just makes things hard.
Just practice, really, and see if you can take off 1/8th notes.

I guess its different in this game. I thought I would get tips since this game is similar to DDR Disney Mix. However, the DDR Disney Mix forum is dead, so I can here to this active forum for tips. The song I have trouble on is Trick Mode (5 star) "Fire" and "Night of Fire" You see it goes somewhat like this
LDUR LD --UR -DU L--R

The difficulty on DDR is called a footer (4 footer, 5 feet, etc.).
Your description is not very concise. Are you talking about jumps? And is this Light or Standard mode?
