I looked through the topics and I didn't find anything that answered my question, but if there was I'm really sorry. >.< Anyway. The only versions of DDR I have are Ultramix 1 and 2, for Xbox. And I've never played on ps2 or in the arcade. I know that some of the songs for ultramix 1 and 2, you can play in the arcade or on ps2, so I was wondering if the steps were the same. Because I really want to try playing in the arcade, but I don't want to get up there only to find that the steps are -completely- different. I have I feeling I won't be able to play in the arcades, but if anyone knows if they're different or the same, please let me know. n___n thanks so much <3

I don't really think that PARANOiA ETERNAL is a bad song, but of course it definitely is not the best PARANOiA out there. But yes, the EXTREME steps still need a bit more work. Cutie Chaser (Morning Mix) is another song with different steps right, or am I hallucinating?

Yeah, those were bullshit steps for a bullshit song. I avoid ETERNAL for that very reason. The updated steps aren't much better either.

quote Reenee
There are no differences in steps. Only the songs vary inbetween mixes.

There are RARE instances of steps totally changed or slightly changed. The only recent instance is PARANOiA ETERNAL. It premiered in 5th Mix and its Heavy steps were changed in EXTREME, where it was its second time showing up in an arcade mix.
Oh my God, I remember when I did PARANOiA ETERNAL on the 5th Mix and I was so pissed. I hate those steps. In my opinion I find it harder than the steps in EXTREME.
