I have tried numerous times pointing the laser mic. at the Glass elevator. Each time just before it reaches the top,the microphone stops recording and the mission is cancelled. I've been all over the courtyard and even cheated(flown) different places. Why does the mic. not finish the last of the conversation?

AS you enter the courtyard, head immediately to the corner to the left and try it from there, you don't have to KO any of the guards in this area. It's been a while since I played, you may have to push a buttom or something to activate the mic if you can't hear them in the elevator. Be sure to follow them with the mic all the way up the elevator from youe position in the corner. Hope this helps.

I had the problem before too, BUT, it wasn't until I beat the game, and played it again. I'm not sure exactly what causes that to happen, but it might be that if you go back and make sure that all your guards that are knocked out are in shadows and not in the open. That had caused a problem before earlier in the game when I had to climb onto the ledge and jump into the window of the kitchen. That might help, I don't know.
