If she backs away from the hatch then you would spend eternity trying to get her to go down, from every possible angle!I had this problem 2 years ago and I was ready to kill her!.I posted a solution then but can't find it now.It involved tranferring one of the .pak from I think the french version.Try instead to find a working version of the game;that one seems to be faulty too.

On the pirate´s boat, Grace refuses to go down a ladder, so I am stuck!
