Does twin snakes follow the exact same storyline as the first MGS cause, I've played 2 and 3 but have never played the fist game and also happen to have a gamecube. I just want to know if playing twin snakes will give me the same experience as playing the first MG.

The old-school graphics were good, at the time. Twin Snakes has enhanced gameplay and better graphics, so it's win win for Twin Snakes.

nah, old school graphics kicks as5, dont judge a game by its look

That's bullshit. People say that all too often, but when you go out to buy a game, you want one that looks good. Games that don't look good have less chance of selling.

Besides, when the original MGS came out, it's graphics were brilliant to other games out at the same time. So why not let it have an update so that it still looks good compared to other games out now?

Graphics don't make a good game

It certainly lacks better graphics.

The voice acting can only be far superior to the previous ones as the voice actors themselves would have had far greater experience, especially Snake.

Again, the cut scenes are far better, I mean, they can use facial expressions for *bleep*'s sake.

You can't say the original is better than the remake on the nostalgia factor alone.

I like original Metal Gear Solid better than remake one
Original MGS had better voice acting, cutscene(not matrix style),better musics and it brings back a memory when I was kid. Original only lacks FPV mode nothing more

Original had better voice acting, better cut scenes, it looked better to it just had this feeling to it. Technically the graphics may suck compared to MGS:TS, but I think the original looks better. It just has this feeling I guess, to it. I remember getting it back when I had my PS1, I had never played anything like it before, it was just great. They butchered the cut scenes in MGS:TS and the voice acting to. Sniper Wolf's death scene sucked in MGS:TS, and so did Gray Fox's final scenes fighting Rex.

to answer that question HELL NO

it has completely changed the storyline at the begginig and middle are kinda on target expect for the part where mantis readss the memory card and you havf to kill a rat
cuz in the original you just had to find the key not kill the rat i swear konami F34ked up big time with this installment and it kinda sucks
Nothing changed besides the cutscenes, what are you talking about?

Killing the rat was in the original game, you just didn't have to do it if you went down fast enough.

And Funaki, why is the original better? It's 95% the same game.

Original one is better than twin snake
