I've got gold in EVERY SINGLE event except one crash event.
It's the Whirlwind level. You need $500,000 to get the gold and every time I get $491,159 one time I was able to get $499,159 but only that once.
I've tried everyting. what I think will work but seems impossible is to boost off the line, hit the burnout token, smash into the first car on the right hand side of the street, aftertouch into the gold and bronse bonus medals, go around the instant crashbreaker but try to land near it. Then once you get your crashbreaker aftertouch into the instant crashbreaker and try to aftertouch into the silver bonus medal.
I've never been able to do this though. Does anyone know a trick for the level? I've been playing this one level for about a week and have tried no less than 3,000 times to get gold with no luck. Thanks

boost off the start into the boost icon. clip the first car in the right lane at the right angle to spin you off collecting both the gold and bronze medals. you may need to hit the crashbreaker(cant remember) holding back on the d pad to send you towards the silver. you should then get enough crashes to hit the crashbreaker button to send you into the silver medal. I think its called whirlwind coz you need to spin thru the two medals. took me 15 hours of trying! good luck, its a one in a million fluke to get it. p.s. you need to get all 3 medals to pass it. Im stuck on tourist trap. If you got any advice plz email me!!!

I dont remember that event, but each event has a specific strategy... find what to hit, when to hitit and whan to use the crashbreaker. or, ya can still go head low into the 1st car you find! its what i do when i dont know what to do else
