It is suggested by Ubisoft (makers of Grandia 2 for the PC) that if you are having problems with the game you should get the newest versions of Direct X as well as Windows Media Player.
If you are having trouble beating Milenia when you meet her, that is because you are supposed to lose to her. But if she will not cast Zap on you, I'm afraid you are out of luck. A suggestion to beat her it to defend the whole time, and hopefully she'll cast Burn on you, and then after a few turns she will cast Zap.
All of you PC owners have to realize that this is the Dreamcast versions forum, so while we can help you with gameplay problems, we cannot help you with system problems. Hopefully Ubisoft will release a patch soon to fix the problems with it.

Well the game is working. The menu looks fine too, but while playing everything is disappearing and reappearing. If I walk with Ryudo than all of a sudden he loses his head and some other body parts and than they come back again. That happens with the whole environment. The ground turns black and than normal again. The graphics are really glitchy, everything is flickering.

Pat. - Use a 16-Bit Color Resolution. The game does not like a 32-Bit Color Resolution.
Shinn17 - I need some more information than that.

The game works for me, theres no black screen and no freeze. BUT the graphics are really glitchy and blurry, the characters are losing their heads and other body parts, the ground is turning black, the backround disapears. It is really unplayable like that, my eyes really hurt xD. Can someone help me?

Hi, I read through some of ths thread and still couldn't find a way to run this game.
I copied CD2, have the noCD crack, sey the resolution to 1024x78 32bit, installed the proper codecs, ran in compatibility mode, yadda yadda yadda, but I still get a black screen no matter what I do and have to exit though task manager.
I'm sure this was answered already at some point,, but this thread is extremely long and well, there's only so many hours in a day.
Thanks in advance

I'm Thai. So I think I can fix movies in grandia2 I used Vista anyway. so when you install a game you must install by Administrators. and when you play a game just use open with admin too. and your computer must have ffdshow or k-lite so before you play game. This is important!!! just open gmconfig everytime before play grandia2 and the movie will show up.
