Also a project Trico (or third ico) is currently in the works. Search "trico" or "the last guardian" on youtube and you can watch a video.

For anyone wondering, or even bothering to muck about the SoTC forum anymore, Team ICO are [obviously] working on a new game "The Last Guardian." It's not a sequel/prequel, retains the same themes and probably is in the same universe.

I agree with Robert Ninja; there ARE too many sequels on the PS2. And any console, for that matter. Just shows the company wasn't good enough to get every feature into a single game, and had to make a "2" because they forgot them. Sometimes, the sequel is just the carbon copy of the predecessor, just with a few more songs and levels.

Well, it was announced that they were going to make another game, but they never said it would be a sequel. They just said they were making another game "of this genre". Not necessarily a sequel. Although a sequel would be sort of nice, because even though it's nice to fill in the blanks with SoTC, I'd still like to know what happened to the trio after the bridge fell. Even my sister said so (who felt really sorry for Agro when he took that tumble. He lived, but it was still so sad when he had that limp).

Gimme some time and I'll track down the link for it.

first of all, if someone reply's with: "ah-yuck, yah, there is a second game of it and it has online play and bla bla bla" then i dont believe it, if they say that there is then i want proof of that, screenshots, a link to an article, if they dont have proof and just are joking around then i just say that they can hit the road.

Oi I agree, I have a few games with "2".

I wouldnt mind seeing a title like "return of the colossus" or maybe just another game completly.

Here is the bottom line--

THERE IS NO FRIGGIN SOTC 2. THERE NEVER WAS AN WORD OF ONE, THERE WAS NEVER ANY HINT OF ONE, THERE NEVER WILL BE. THIS GAME WAS A STAND ALONE TITLE. IF IT WILL EVER RECEIVE A SUCCESSOR IT WILL EITHER BE A REMAKE ON THE PS3 OR AN ENTIRELY NEW GAME, MUCH LIKE WHAT SOTC WAS TO ICO. SO STOP WITH THIS MINDLESS BANTER ABOUT A SEQUEL. IT DOESN'T NEED ONE, PEOPLE.
