It is a glitch. I killed myself and restarted from the checkpoint and it worked fine. However, I continued to have problems. Every other character I encounter seems to be invisible. Sometimes they can hit me but I can't him them. Sometimes we walk right through each other with no collision detection.
Anyone experienced this?

I am inside a glass tunnel. I can see a symbol through the glass on my right. Activating it will move a stack of boxes from one ridge to another, unblocking one side of a path and blocking the other. I know that I have to use the symbol to unblock the path, charm a slave below me through the glass so that he can walk over and activate a switch.
But for some reason, I cannot charm the slave through the glass. Any suggestions?! Am I aiming wrong?
