Does double tapping in the direction you're facing work? I found this guide from neo and it says to roll you double tap in the direction you're facing. Hope that helps. XD

I have been stuck on the same level, for the last day. im at the session where you need to ROLL under the steel gate. the thing is I dont know the code buttins to do that ! i've tried everything, but i cant make Jackie ROLL. i dont have my handbook to look up the controls. so please help.
