sorry for the late reply, I was banned by a truly corrupt mod (abuse of power anyone?) anyway, I thank you for accepting my apology. I hope that we can live all our lives in harmony.

OK, man. now if only I had online for my PS2 and DS... so either way, are we cool?

Oh, never mind...I do remember putting that. Well, the truth is I was getting into Tae Kwon Do, but then I went to college and never went beyond a second lesson. Thus, I have already forgotten what I know.

Yes, I understand it's with the Rigists.
But are you the only one in your former anti-Rig "group"?
WTF? there was never a "group". I was always independant. I apologise for my immaturity, blind assumptions, and asinine behavior in general. namclone, know that there is good in everyone, even the likes of Johndaze and Madman608 (douchebags) and my self and you are of no exceptions. I hope that this hateful rage that overcame me a few days ago can and may be forgiven. PS. nam, my most fearful moment happened yesterday while I was sparring. my opponent (who just happened to be my parent's carpenter) had hit me rather firmly in the ribs (laugh all you want ). this hit was so powerful that it made me lose my ability to breathe. this was, obviously, very scary, because I thought that I would die. then, the instructor came to me, and commanded me to raise both of my hands. suddenly, I could berathe again. PSS. your wikipedia user page says that you still practice Tae Kwon Do. I would suggest that you update it.
Oh, I see. Well, someone else must have edited because I don't practice Tae Kwon Do.
And I disagree with your comment that there is good in everyone...but I'm actually in class now, so meh.

Normally, Adam, RR would be right that I would so much damage. In fact, people often prefer to kill yourself instead of facing the damage I could do and because they can't face life's challenges. JK, of course. On a more serious note, I don't practice Tae Kwon Do, so you can probably beat me easily. One of my roommates does Tae Kwon Do and he often blocks my moves with relative ease (we have never fought seriously, but I can tell I would be defeated). What made you assume I do martial arts anyways? Also, I currently live in Mass., which is close to Maryland... it's not as far as you think, unless you are referring to Cirus (Utah) or Stellar Stone's HQ in the US (California). Maybe when you are eighteen and if I'm still here we can spar.
Finally, while Rigism is now officially a philosophy, it used to be a "religion"(Soapbox and I--coincidentally two members who left because of the way the forum/chat is going--were the first to seriously advocate for a change because it never felt right to us; there was some talk before that, but nothing was concrete until we intervened). This matters because I (and obviously you) still see some religious elements, from the Book of Rigism to the notion of Stellar Stone to the Rigmandments. You should always remember, though, that Rigism was NEVER intended to be a full-fledged religion akin to Christianity or Judaism. Most of it is done for satire, though some members do take it a bit to the extreme (See: ZIGS_ARE_WINNER). Nonetheless, people do not really worship Stellar Stone, Gamemill, or Big Rigs as godly beings; there may be a tint of admiration, though. By now most of us have grown to admire Big Rigs and the majority of our arguments are indeed honest, but they are almost always done in a satirical vein. For example, did Stellar Stone really come to me in a dream to give me an account of what would later become a story in the Book of Rigism known as "The Gray Void"? Of course not. But the story remains relevant to Big Rigs because it incorporates the game's unique elements (the Gray Void), characters (Stellar Stone, The Rigs, Alex Navarro), and adds a bit flavor for a broader appeal (the concept of time travel, the setting/development of the plot itself). The same is true for stories that Cirus, Soapbox, and other members wrote. The main purpose of the forum, then, is to expand the Big Rigs universe in an entertaining way; that is why we often provided links to Big Rigs-related websites, create an entire system of laws and codes based on the videogame, have a fan art forum, etc. Sometimes we are serious, sometimes we are joking, sometimes you can't really tell...but we always do it in a entertaining way and with a fun spirit in mind. That is primarily what the forum is for--at least until recently, but that's another story for another day.
So why did we change officially from a religion to a philosophy if most of us never really saw Stellar Stone/the Rigs as deities? Well, it was more of a PR move to change the perceptions of outsiders (and the second goal was to please those who felt wrong at calling Rigism a religion). When people see us as a religion, they immediately brand us as zealots. In fact, you called Rigism a cult; your statement is emblematic of the perception we were trying to erase, or at least diminish significantly. It appears to have worked since our real membership is much higher than it was a year or even six months ago; the nominal number of members is over three hundred but that is because most people create accounts and immediately leave.
And the reason I often post long statements like this is because writing helps me get through my writer's block...and since I have a 20-page paper due relatively soon, I need the mental workout to help me get through the barrier.
