He was kinda hard for me to be honest. (then again I was little when I faced him, but still...) I have only beaten him 2x (twice) in my life. I have died from him at least 20 if not 30+ times. Did anyone else have trouble? (Last Boss)

When I was a little kid I found him hard, but I beat after a couples of tries. I beat him on my second try after not playing for years.
I thought the bowser valley fortress was much harder than bowser himself. Tubular is still the hardest level for me.

I had very little trouble with Bowser. I thought he was pretty easy. I remember having trouble with the very last castle, the one before Bowser; that was a pain in my ass.

i can beat bowser on the first try. this mario game is so easy to me. i can beat the whole thing without using star world in an hour. if anyone nedds to know anything ill help cause i know every secret in this game.

I remeber dieing two or three times as a kid but i never had major difficulties with him or his castle
i acomplished a dream about 2 years ago i finished the entire game start to finish including star road and the extra levels after that without losing a single life i had to restart twice that sucks
especially since the second was at the ghost ship

Bowser's simple. Annoying with the balls rolling out at that one part, but simple. You hit him six times. No boiling him in lava, no making him destroy his own floor, no blowing him up thrice. Just hit him six times.

When I was younger, I had a hard time beating him. Now that I have the game on the Wii's Virtual Console, the castle is easy for me to beat, I can do it without losing a life; and now I know what doors are easier to go through as well. In my opinion, there are some harder levels/castles than Bowser's Castle.
