Well, I've put about 2 hours into this game so far. I won't play Oblivion until I beat Prey. I've 'beat' Oblivion, but there is still much to do.

Prey is an alright game. The last game to kind of give me the creepy crawlies or whatever was Doom 3. Nothing after that has ever bothered me. I sometimes go back into Doom 3 just for fun, and nothing about it scares me. I never thought another game would ever even be able to make me jump. I was wrong...

While no game literally 'scares' me out of playing, Prey does increase the heartrate sometimes. Well, mainly the parts dealing with little kids. While they could have left it out, I guess it is the most crazy thing to add to a game. Kids... killing... being killed... killing you. Err... wierd shit.

I also like how when you are loading an alien up with... whatever kind of ammo they use... their body is being pushed and jerked in all different directions. FEAR should have implemented that, and Prey should have implemented slo-mo :-). Oh well, still a decent first person shooter, although I'm not fond of the puzzles. All this upside down/sideways/back upside up/sideways again shit can be confusing. But it's a one of a kind game, and they made it work. Also, with a not so top-notch system like mine, it's always fun to have a game you can run maxed out 1280x1024 4xaa/16xaf smoothly. 40 - 60 fps most of the time.

It's kind of repetitive, but still fun. It's not like Oblivion to where you can put 12 hours straight into it, but I'll have it beat eventually, an hour at a time. It reminds me of Halo too much, though.

Hasn't anyone else played this lately?

After I beat it, I maybe played around in it a little bit. I really love how the story starts out. It also has a wild twist to it. Freaky game. Like said above, it is very original in terms of gameplay mechanics. The rotating puzzle rooms are a first for me.

INDIANS ARE KOOL!

Far too short, it can be beaten in one sitting with ease. It's also rather repetitive in terms of progression, corridor, corridor, corridor, big room "puzzle", corridor, corridor, corridor... but besides that, this is the most original FPS around in terms of gameplay mechanics and such.

Though the three parts with the little girl did scare me

I still haven't even beat it yet. I like outdoor scenery in games. This is too much of the same stuff over and over, kind of like Doom 3. I'll beat it someday.

I thought it was entertaining, just too short. Beat it the same day I bought it.

It's alright, all I can say is fun while it lasted. I really enjoyed this game for the first 2-3 hours, but after that it got too repetitive to keep me entertained.
