Help, I'm up to the 3rd chapter, i think, and i have 3 choices so far from Villnore, the temple on the lake one, the mine and the ancient forest. I tried going into the temple, but i dont know where to go!! i spent 1 hour going up and down and all around it, but there are gates that blocks some of my paths... i can see the boss but there is a big gate blocking the way.

I also tried the mine afterwards, and everything was going fine until i got to a gate that was blocking the path, but it said it needed a key, so i thought maybe the monsters had the key, but the monsters there seemed invincible and i couldnt kill them.

As for the ancient forest, again, everything was O.K till i got to the boss, that horse/bird looking thing, and it killed my party in one go..

I really need help.. I hope someone can help me..

Yeah, other than a little bit of a cutscene and some doodles around the dias that look someone set it on a "doylie". Ah well.

it's no problem, i remember wracking my brain at that place. they don't give you much of a clue to let you know to put a sealstone on each dais there.

I'm in Chapter 3. I did some more digging and somewhat answered my own question. Problem was, that I hadn't found the boss in Crawsus (thought I had, but I guess not) and thusly had not unlocked the Dragonscrypt and whatnot. Tis my next move!

what was the last major event/cutscene/dungeon you went through? my guess is you're at the forest of spirits and need to head back to dipan but again that's just a guess based off of the minimal info you gave.

and as for the poem, you've done everything you need to do for that sidequest but you won't get your "reward" until chapter 6.

I started this game a while ago, and like many rpg's, got tired of looking at it and put it down for a while. I've since picked it back up, unlocked Crell Monferaigne (or that portion of the continent), aaaand proceeded through every dungeon I can find, defeating any/all large bosses. Now I'm stumped. There doesn't seem to be a next step. Meanwhile, I just keep leveling and racking up on crystals, skills, and items/weapons. Help! What next?

(I've found all three portions of the poem as well, but it doesn't seem like I'm ready to do whatever it is they are needed for yet.)

When I played the game I didn't went into the Ancient Forest or the Mines, I did the first dungeon where you need to beat the Wyvern and then I went into the water temple right away. I didn't change my team at all when I got to the Kraken and I beat him without using any items on the first try.

I think there's a soulstone which boosts the ice attacks for the monsters in the temple, of course you'll want to replace that. I think I went for my usual combo of "RDM+RST 1/2" and "no guarding" and had equipped the Sword Blessing sealstone for my own party. I think my party at the time has been Alicia, Rufus, Dylan and the Einherjar mage Alm. He has the lightning attack and as I found out later when I used the Spectacles on the Kraken, he has -100% resistance on LIGHTNING, not Fire, so he's very susceptible to that attack. I'm not sure, but I'd say that my party members were around level 15 at that moment. At least two, if not all three of my other characters could use Soul Crush on their weapons, and the lightning attack from Alm is a great way to build up the Heat counter, so I defeated it right away by just hacking and slashing at it. That boss was the easiest by far for me because he didn't really have the time to fight back. He is dangerous if you only almost kill him as I read, because then he uses a Great Magic attack on your whole party, but I didn't give him the time for that.
