Hey guys, I know that there are lot of other threads out there like this, but as I was looking through them I noticed that a lot of questions were being left unanswered. They were also really messy.

So, if you have a question about LKII than just post it here. No pointless comments please (i.e. oh I beat the game in 8 hours). This is not a bragging forum. Thanks, and I hope I can help you. I have beaten the game including all of the side quests, I have gotten all of the cards and red fairys, and I can help with strategies for boss fights if you need them too.

i mean the one with "throw thine card at the hilt of the sword"

to get the blade of skill you go into the room, and throw a card at the pedestal to your left. you get a capture card by going to kadishu and go to the statue on the ground not up the stairs, you go behind the statue and ask the guy for capture cards.

I've got also Problems about the skill-blade. I'm pset that no one can answer us this question.(previously sry for my bad english).

@aloeveraa: you can later in the course of the game buy the capture cards =)

I've got another question: in the first level, just at the begining, I can't open the doors, they're locked.

Hey, I feel like a complete idiot asking this but I just got the game and was wondering, how/where do you get a capture card? Or can you use any card as a capture card? That one thing I've questioned and there doesn't seem to be any guide anywhere that describes it in much detail
Thanks in advance

Hi Eleonoor,

LK2Player here. I'm not sure if Snoop Gizz is still checking this thread or not---he probably is.

In case he isn't, I'll check it every day. I've played the game through to the end---including all the side quests and the secret levels. I've also read a lot of the threads. So, if you have any questions I'll try to help you out with it. I know what it's like to need the answer to something and have no way to find it.

I'm just finishing up LK1---I bought it off eBay and I have to say that I love LK2 but I don't like LK1. I guess it's a good thing I played LK2 first or I would never have tried it.

LK1 has the forced battles, depleting your deck for the boss fight. If you dare to approach a blue fairy to replenish your health, magic, or cards, more likely than not it just pulled you into another fight where you lost more cards. Any discarded cards are lost for the duration of the battle. Any time you want to get a card inside something that you have to break you must do it during a battle---with enemies trying to kill you in a confined space at the same time. VERY frustrating.

LK2 is "great"! I love it. You can replenish all your magic, cards, and health with the blue fairies---like between battles at the Arena. You can choose to fight everything or nothing before the boss fight, and if you do deplete your cards you can replenish them with the fairies. You can use any card in your deck whenever you want during a battle. You can go around breaking stuff to find things inside whenever you feel like it. You can make it as challenging as "you" wish, minus the frustration.

I have managed to lower the frustration level in LK1 by applying a technique suggested in the threads. A five card deck that restores all the cards and health. I haven't tried this in LK2 but I think I will next time I play.

2 Steel Skeletons (or attack cards of your choice, it's better if you use independent type cards I think)
2 Mind Flayers
1 Water Bird
I decided to add a Kraken to that mix.

The Water Bird replenishes all of 'your' health 'and' the health of the Skeletons during battle. The Mind Flayer restores any used cards 'and' all the health to the Skeletons during battle. Then the Water Bird restores your health again when the Mind Flayer depletes it---if you can't get any crystals. I use the Kraken on the enemy while they're busy with the Skeletons.

That way I don't get the high frustration level from forced battle over and over and over again, because I never lose any of my deck.

Feel free to ask for help.

Ok after reading a little further through this board I got it, thanks anyway!

Hi All!
I hope someone still reads these threads.
I have a problem with the Bashea Castle level. I have never gotten the sword of skill (this is the third time I play the game). I have read the walkthrougs and faqs and it is getting a bit clearer but I still don't understand what to do.
So there's the room with the plaque saying "throw thine card at the hilt of the sword". And when you turn right from reading, there's the space with a hole in the floor and a pedestal for a sword, right?
So should you throw the card at the square space in front of the pedestal or what? Because I think I managed to do that but it doesn't work. Or should it be a particular card?

Thanks for helping me!

Here are some more missing cards from the Proving Grounds.

Level 6 Bum Hagen
Level 8 Gargoyle
Level 10 Blood Bush
Level 12 Wood Elemental, Dryad
Level 13 Phooka
Level 14 Red Dragon
Level 15 Witchlette, Larval Fly
Level 16 Rock Hagen
Level 17 Super Pumper
Level 19 Demon Lord, Nueh

There are still two missing. One on Level 14, and one on Level 18. I'm pretty sure that the one remaining card on 14 is an Amber Dragon---I remember getting one during the first run through. So, the Jack-O-Lantern must be the remaining card on Level 18.

I read that the Jack-O-Lantern is one of the cards you get in the draw at the end of one of the missions in the Proving Grounds. I don't know which one though.

There are several that don't have all of the draw cards listed. If you refer to the Lost Kingdoms 2 Card, Item, and Combo Collection Guide by MysticWeirdo and zeldafannow, on GameFAQs, you'll see a list of cards from draws but there are some missing. I just found a Demon Lord in the Level 19 draw, so there's one more.

If anyone knows which level the Jack-O-Lantern card is on, I'd like to know.
