Help on Taking Screenshots

Well, just in case the people that get the game, and want to post screenshots of certain things, this should help out.

First, while in gameplay, when you see something you want to take a screenshot of, push the Print Screen button to the right of F12(not sure for Macs)(note, there will be no notification when you push the print screen button, it will appear as if nothing happens).

To get out of the game, the thing that should work is pushing alt + tab, and it should minimize the game during play(not sure if it pauses the game or not, so you may want to pause it).

Next(once out of the game), go into a picture editing program(like paint, photoshop, microsoft paintshop, etc.) and then go to edit paste. If the paste button is not able to be clicked, then it should work once you go to file, new, and it opens a new file, and then it should be able to be pasted.

Then, go to file save, and save the picture as whatever you want to call it, and then you can close the program if you want.

For online Hosting:

It seems people are having trouble. Now, I know of at least five hosts that allow you to put images on neoseeker:

Go ahead and to one of these sites(or wherever you have web hosting), and upload them to the website. The sites below are ones that are very good and that allow external linking.

Tripod Canada (12mb upload, external linking, bandwidth unknown)

Imagestation (allows unlimited upload, unlimited bandwidth, and external linking, but not full size)

Strike9 (5mb upload, 1 gig bandwidth per month, external linking)

VillagePhotos(50mb upload, 8mb bandwidth, external linking, bandwidth explained)

Netfirms (25mb upload, 1 gig bandwidth, external linking)(requires Microsoft Frontpage upload along with FTP, more difficult than the others)

Posting an IMAGE.

Enter the following markup:

Without the *'s, the above markup would result in:

Without the *'s, we get:

NOTE: When posting the address of an Image, always include the http://, and the file extension (.jpg etc)

How to put a picture under your name(avatar)

Well, due to the amount of people asking how to have an avatar, I felt like I'll post the steps here.

First, click prefs on the top of the page.

Then, click scroll down and click Edit your profile pic (avatar) here, and then upload your pic from your computer, and make sure it is no bigger than 25kb in size, no larger than 65 by 65 pixels, and that it is either in jpeg or gif format.

Then make sure that in the prefs section, make sure under the customize settings section, you have yes selected for Include Profile Pic in Forum postings.

Then, your avatar should show up underneath your name.

Signature Help

Ok, to get a signature to show up underneath everyone of your posts, ...

First, click prefs at the top of the page(or link)

Next, scroll down to the customize settings section, and in the text box labeled Signature, put what you want in your signature there.

Then, to make sure that your signature is always clicked when you post a message, scroll down to the Posting Form Preferences section, and click yes next to Select Signature by Default.

Now you should have a signature.

Note: I do not have the game yet, so some of the in game things I posted about may not be correct, so if anything I posted is wrong, go ahead and tell me.

I sincerely apologise now if this has come up before but I am very frustrated with GTA3.

I recently bought it but the text display doesn't display, it just displays yellow blocks. I cannot configure the screen even if this is the problem because I cannot read the menus. Has this ever happened to anyone? Is my version faulty, or I am just a tit who cannot solve a simple problem....either way please help! This game is pointless without the text display!

I have XP pentium IIII, one year old machine.....anyone????

Wait for the Ice Cream Van to leave St. Marks and then jack it...if that doesn't work than download the Admin Console, to do anything you want in GTA3.

pp[p, I belive the picture you were trying to post didnt work because the Tripod.ca servers are down for good. I remember that because one of the pictures in the mod request thing is hosted by it and I checked up on it, sure enough, down.
