First of all it is the barzini's who are the toughest family. If i where you i would call in a corleone squad (or whatever they call 'em) to help you in raiding their warehouses,hubs, and compound. (thats right they only have ONE compound but so do the other families.so if you are a noob at this i think you should start bullying the tattalagians but for sum reason i always get into a mob war because of em .

I hate the Tattalgia simply because they seem the most organised. Theres this one area where they block off a street with cars and that makes it frustrating when trying to shake of cops or going through their hood.

If you go near any warehouse, hub, or compound, every family will block off the streets, even the Corleones.

Barzinis are definitely the toughest family, but then again theyare supposed to be. The Cuneos are pretty strong too.

Ok here's the deal. Tattaglias (Brown) shouldn't be much trouble for anyone. You could kill 'em with a wet sock if you put your mind to it. Stracchis (Blue) are a fair bit tougher, but if you're smart and prepared, they're easy enough. Cuneos (Red) are a little tougher than the Stracchis, though not by a huge amount. Lastly, Barzinis (Green) are basically superhuman. If not for head shots, I probably never would have been able to take Barzini Compound.

So I guess the Barzini's are my least favourite, although that Cuneo roadblock in the middle of Hell's Kitchen really gives me the shits.

I'm not too far in the game but I love business extortioning It was all going so well until I went to this one place and the guys in red coats killed me because they all had tommy guns and I had no ammo left So whoever is the family in the red coats I hate them
