There are a dozen new pictures ready for perusal for all interested over at the 2k Official Community Page. No screenshots, all poster art, but definitely still worth checking out in my opinion.

Bioshock managed to grab itself Game of the Year, Best 360 Game and Best Original Score, making it the most decorated game at the awards this year and also grabbing it two fairly prestigious titles. The entire article can be found here!

After playing the game a bit I'm a little disapointed with the lack of an inventory and I'm also finding the controls a bit clumbersome.
The switching between weps and plasmids is a bit irritating. Other than that, thoroughly enjoyable.

The thing I always liked about the series was how they actually made your initial mellee wep useful by allowing you to upgrade damage done and skills with it.
Especially in System Shock 2 where ammo and weps in good condition were hard to come by!

'Cause it takes place far, far back in the year 1960, so it's a lot harder to procure that stuff. Trust me, you'll find some awesome stuff in that city underwater. =D

The girls are harvesting Adam, and are protected by the Big Daddy's, no doubt the large metal guys you saw around 'em.
Creative Director Ken Levine on BioShock
__________
Shack: That said--and I assume you will answer this in the negative--would you ever consider making a game like this without combat, or without very much combat? When playing BioShock, I got the sense that the world is so rich and compelling that one could theoretically develop a game there not centered around combat.
Ken Levine: Well, I like shooting stuff. [laughs] I've never been a fan of adventure games, but obviously, that's another medium that's been used to tell stories. At the end of the day, I'm a game first kind of guy, so I don't know if it's something I'd do. I'd probably do it as a book or a movie or a comic book or something.
I just want to push forward in the context of what you can do within an action game. Our goal was always to be shooting and telling stories at the same time, and that was a goal with BioShock. We wanted to have our cake and eat it too.
I think this is interesting but what do you think.
I was watching channel 127 watching X-play one day. I saw a guy in a white shirt killing a girl (im like is this a killing game or something) but from behind him the guardian gay thing attacked him and he injected some serum in him. and he had a crappy axe i think but after he got drilled a hole in him. sorta looked like gameplay
The girl is probably the "looter" in game descript.
You probably already know this but its pretty cool if you ask me.
