Thread Recap (last 10 posts from newest to oldest)

In the PS2 version you could either kill Hisham and blow up his body, or keep him alive, escape through a fence, and get an upset comment from Emile.

Wasn't Hishma killed? He was a splinter cell undercover as a double agent as well but Dufraisne found out and got him killed.

But why would he? Sam wouldn't just give up intel like that. He's not that kind of person. He went rougue for a reason. That reason is that third echelon put him through the death of his daughter...twice. Sam just probably wants to be left alone, so he can forget about third echelon. then when he has his courage back, he can face his punishment.

P.S. Hisham Hamza from Double Agent is just as good a Splinter cell as sam, so if they really wanted to nutralize Sam, they'd send Hamza for him.

If Sam doesn't exist, all the more reason for Third Echelon to try and hunt him down as how he can spill all of their information to the highest bidder.

Oct 08, 08 04:18PMShadow Pikmin

Yeah, because probably HE DOESN'T EXIST! Third echelon resists telling people about sam and has erased all files regarding his government duties. so if he doesn't exist, and they haven't heard from him, there's really no reason for looking for him.

But Sam Fisher took them down.

Third Echelon would have to find another brilliant splinter cell in order to find and capture Sam. Although he was captured in Essentials, yet broke out. Sam Fisher doesn't play by the rules in which he gets in trouble for that but he knows how Third Echelon works and I'm sure he has managed to stay on his feet for so long for a reason.

Well, third echelon is pretty impressive. I dont think that sam can stay out of it's radar. Milan nedich, Norman Soth, Douglas Shetland, and Emile Dufraisne couldn't.

Well not necessarily. I forget whether if it's the 360 version or the PS3 version but when the credits role, you hear some ops units break into the place and arrest Sam Fisher but he manages to break out and jump into the river. There's a Youtube video for it but I can't find it for the life of me. Anyways, that gives the possibility of the ops getting to Lambert in time, whether he was shot or not, therefore keeping him alive. It's a crazy theory, I know but it's just a shot. And something tells me that Sam will kill Williams. The storyline for Splinter Cell Essentials is still quite blurry for me and vague but I think that Williams frames Fisher right?
In terms of Conviction's storyline in saving Anna, he can either team up with Third Echelon and the NSA again to regain Grímsdóttir or he can do it on his own, all the while staying out of the NSA's radar.

Consitering You can kill lambert in Double Agent no matter what system you play it on, I'm pretty sure he isn't in this game...exept that he's the narrator, so maybe you cant kill him. Maybe the end of the game is that Fisher has to make a decision whether to kill A.D. williams like he sais in double agent, or rejoin third echelon. If he does rejoin, then at least Tom Clancy can make more splinter cell games.

That's the thing. I'm not sure if Lambert is even in the series anymore.

With that hanging over the producers and the writers of this game's head, it'll be hard to make a decision on Lambert' appearance.
