i was thinking about getting this game but it looks repetetive and boaring. is it?

This game is flat out awesome, person replying to a two-year-old thread.
Shooting up all the enemies is just sheer fun; yeah it's overly simplistic, but everything works in a campy B-movie kind of way, and that's the charm.

This game flat out sucks. Each level is virtually the same, backed by depressingly horrible voicing. The game's graphics seem to suggest it's more fitted as an early Playstation 2 game than an Xbox 360 one. Looking at the bright side, there is a multitude of weapons to be used (mind you that each one sucks in their own ways) and 53 levels to save Japan from endless waves of oversized bugs and killer mechs.

well it kinda depends on what kinda games your into.
there are 53 playable levels
each level can be set on easy, normal, hard, hardest, and inferno difficulty (it's makes it interesting)
there are 150 weapons to unlock (random depending on what level and difficulty)
you get to fight godzilla in a helicopter or tank
giant alien ants, spiders, robots, oh my
RENT IT TO TEST IT OUT, THEN IF YOU LIKE IT BUY IT!!!!!
